From escargot to chili ceviche, Grodin serves French-Latin American food in a cozy location that has held the attention of Honolulu foodies over the past year. The chef pushes the envelope on creative cooking in similar ways that Pig and the Lady did a year ago. (But Pig and the Lady has gone back to a more traditional Vietnamese menu which nullifies my former raving of their chef's ingenuity). So let's hope Grodin keeps its edge and gives Honolulu something to eat about.
Located in the Chinatown Arts District across Lucky Belly at 64 N Hotel Street in Honolulu. Park in the paid lots on either street corner, unless you're lucky to get a meter spot.
