Gastropubs have just hit the scene in Honolulu over the past year and a half.
Salt in Kaimuki has a nice vibe and creative mixologist using homemade syrups. Come for the "Chicken fried local rabbit" plated with pancetta and gravy, and also the "Scotch egg" paired with Chinese sausage, micro greens and uni aioli.
Sadly they were out of four--yes four--items we ordered. What's up with that?!
