Local Artist (Maui)

Love this guy's work and had the pleasure of meeting with Richard for a commissioned piece. He "carves" pieces of steel then adds layers of auto-body gloss for a perfect sheen. His pieces have amazing movement and depth. Laboring 60+ hours per piece, Richard charges a reasonable price for these one of a kind pieces. They can be purchased at Maui Hands--if you're lucky. He sells a piece at least every other day, and sometimes they fly off the shelf after an hour after being displayed on the wall.

Big thumbs up for this local construction worker turn passionate artist. What a great story and I wish him much success!
