Ululani Shave Ice - Kihei and Wailuku (Maui)

I discovered Ululani when it was just three months old. Now they've become an island wide business with six branches in Kahului (original), two in Lahaina on front street (visited by tourists), and recent locations in Kihei (photos above), Wailuku (in the new Safeway shopping plaza--the Safeway market is said to be haunted, btw), and an outdoor booth at the Hyatt in Kapahulu (newest endeavor). Their homemade syrup and finely shaved ice is the best on all the Hawaiian islands (I've raved about them in prior posts) and I'm glad to see this company take off a couple years later. Love their clever picnic tables with the holes to harbor the shave ice cups. Hey why not, it works!
