Morimoto's New Restaurant (Maui)

The popular iron chef Morimito has a new restaurant on this islands, this time at the new Andaz resort in Wailea. I was unimpressed with Alan Wong's joint at the Grand Wailea resort next door. So I'm keeping fingers crossed for a hopeful Morimoto success. 

I'm also looking forward to seeing how Hyatt's boutique hotel, Andaz, fares on Maui. The Andaz line is a little trendier and targets a younger business-hip type of crowd. There is a niche for Andaz in Wailea and it brings hotel diversification to the established strip which houses a space for the quiet and pampered Four Seasons guests to those at the boisterous and family oriented Grand Wailea.
