"Lava" Short by Disney Pixar (Big Island)

Local vocalist Kuana Torres Kahele sings with an ukulele against the backdrop of an animated volcano named Uku in a cute "lava story" ❤️ that pays homage to Hawaii's natural beauty.

I have mixed feelings about the Asian eyes but am glad that director James Murphy fell in love with Hawaii during his honeymoon trip to the Big Island and is sharing these fond sentiments on the Pixar screen.

The short will be released in theaters Spring 2015.
